Little fellahs

The last time I needed a break from the political, I resorted to elephants.  For this time, well, we all know the primary function of the internet is to transmit amusing pictures of cats.  Even Hillary likes them.  So without further ado, some pussies that The Donald would not grab.....

I like that with the cat "high fiving" the kid on the bike at bottom! {:-) my goodness, a cat on a baphomet too! {:-), a familiar I reckon. No ... I didnt know about the cat thing on the internet though, dont know what is up with that. I had several cats myself over the years, and like them ... I also like dogs too, difficult to keep up with them though and give them the care that they deserve. I had a bunch of snakes to at a time.

I needed that! I'd have to say my favorite is the last one, with the high-five.

Omigosh! Pussies strike back. Poor Ernie. He doesn't deserve that.

Cute pics. I particularly liked the black cat on the pentacle. Funnily enough, as a small child I used to have a phobia of black cats* (I remember once happily playing in the backyard of a house my family had just moved into, only to flee inside in terror when a black cat poked its head over the fence), but an aunt thankfully cured me of that by getting me one as a Christmas present. Poor old Blackie - next year will be the thirtieth anniversary of his passing. :( Now, black cats are among my favourites, and I'd really like to get another; sadly, however, I'm living in a rented flat whose owner doesn't allow pets. :( again. Oh well, maybe someday.

*No idea where it came from.

I find cats perhaps the most aesthetically appealing non-human species, but maybe I'll come up with some amusing dog (or snake) pics next time.

I guess Ernie fell prey to the Donald Trump of cats.

The human phobia about black cats is just another example of the idiocy of superstition, which has caused its share of pointless animal suffering. Glad to hear Blackie, at least, had a good home.

Last spring, we discovered that a mother cat and her four kittens were living under our backyard deck. I was able to capture all of them and find homes for them. We kept one kitten for ourselves. I had never been a cat owner before. He can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but it's been a mostly positive experience.

Can't say I've ever been one for pets myself, but I understand they're a positive experience for many people.
