Paul Wartenberg at You Might Notice a Trend could use a little help right now.

Twins!

Little fella likes bubbles.

Some people are too incompetent to be criminals.

What if Godzilla attacked Tokyo today?

Sometimes stupidity is useful (found via Republic of Gilead).

Texas has epic desert.

Here are some rich-people showers.

Check out the underwater art of Jason deCaires Taylor.

Bird brain?  Crows are startlingly intelligent.

This is how you touch your girlfriend, not your daughter.

Female Republican elected officials are a vanishing species.

Some cops get it. So does Bernie.

Life as a Trump spokesperson isn't easy.

A primitive and barbaric religion blames, shames, and silences rape victims (found via Republic of Gilead).

Another moralizing puritan has his true character exposed.

Faye Kane looks at aging and evolution -- and what the end might look like.

When rats flee a sinking ship, consider how they got there in the first place.

Rubio's war on women just gets worse and worse.

On unemployment, the record is clear.

The Christian Right is in steep decline these days (found via Republic of Gilead).

One of the worst things about religion is how it poisons sexuality.

The real problem with GMOs isn't GMOs, it's capitalism.

Tony Perkins is "disturbed" by the Navy naming a ship after Harvey Milk (found via Republic of Gilead).  Well, of course he is.

Trump's "Second Amendment" remark may have been worse than we think.

The slowness of the US economic recovery is due to austerity policies similar to those the EU has used to ruin southern Europe.

One more Syrian town is liberated from Dâ'ish (ISIL).

The US is getting fed up with Erdoğan's antics.

Alien invaders threaten the Florida coast.

Don't tell the fundies, but there are lesbian lizards.

The Piltdown hoax illustrates how science always works toward truth.

Trump is losing (found via Mock Paper Scissors), and he's going to keep losing, and he's barely even trying.  I'm not the only one who thinks he's endangering the whole party and the harder he falls, the better.  Here's how we'll know they've given up.

If you're a Bernie supporter not voting for Hillary, read this.  Bernie and his people have an important role to play (found via Crooks and Liars).  We can make change possible.

Trump has been caught lying about his wealth before.

South Carolina is liberal on a  few issues.

The Green party does serve a purpose.

Here are 173 reasons why Trump is not fit to be President (found via Field Negro).  And here's a list of the rape allegations against him.

Some in the media are waking up from both-siderism, while wingnuts sink into total self-delusion, including some weird fantasies about Hillary.  Trumpanzees have endless excuses for their man's bad polls, but no, the polls are not skewed, and even the claim that Hillary would be losing to a different Republican overlooks crucial realities.

Focus on this issue above all -- because it truly is terrifying.

Even lizards like bubbles! What a cutie.

As for the arsonist covered by Ranch Chimp, if someone is stupid enough to enter a life of crime, they're stupid enough to screw up their crimes.

As for animal intelligence, it's not just those remarkable corvids. Large parrots such as African greys and cockatoos show intelligence akin to that of a small child.

I wouldn't trust Donald Trump with a toy sword, much less nuclear codes. A stupid, unstable man should NOT have that much power. I never thought I'd see a candidate who made George W. Bush look prudent and dignified by comparison.

Good morning Infidel! Just been cruisin through some of these links ... I was surprised when I seen a picture of Palo Duro Canyon at the heading of your post ... but that is more "high plains" region than desert, sort of "semi" arid, what's weird, is when you are down in it, it looks like you're surrounded by mountain ranges, when actually above ground, it looks flat, but there is a large desert area out west Texas and mountains, which would be a few hundred miles southwest of there.

The underwater art of Jason was really some nice stuff too

It was funny and deserving as far as the anti- gay group who raised money for the LGBT's

I wish that Godzilla would show up on Capitalism Hill (Capitol Hill) {:-)

Wow, those rich folks showers were kick ass looking! ... damn guy, they make an adventure out of showering! I never seen anything like those, and didnt know how elaborate their showers can be, I can only imagine what some of them do for taking a dump {:-)

I was reading Rosa's piece on religion poisoning love ... the thing that is interesting to me and puzzling ... is when I look at religions, God or whatever ... I often wondered where the root of making sex taboo was even started (probably someone got the red- ass over a date gone wrong, and started writing about it), or what it has to do with theology even, it is about as connected as taking a dump the proper way ... but you know how twisted that shit is. I also am equally confused on how some of these religions can deny evolution, yet tell you that God created it? ... never mind, I shouldnt even go there heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-)

Yes ... I agree totally with that HuffPost piece on blaming austerity ... this is what I been thinking all along and hammered on it in my blog, because the same gang that is pushing this globalism austerity measures, are also the same gang forcing their way more into all our politics and governments ... because they want to run and regulate everything ... and they're milking us dry financially, but enough from me on that.

Have a good un Infidel!

Paul: Hope it helps.....

Ahab: The parrots are probably smarter than the criminals, and more articulate.

Ranch: It certainly looks like desert by the standards of our rainswept region. I guess it depends what you're used to.

I can only imagine what some of them do for taking a dump

I hear Saddam Hussein had a solid gold toilet. It wouldn't surprise me if Donald Trump does.

W: Thanks!

Rosa: Thanks for the posts! You've certainly been prolific lately.
