Dewey defeats Obamacare!

Check out these instant-classic reports on today's big news, from the MSM and the Tennessee Republican party:

[Found via Progressive Eruptions, Parsley's Pics, and Ramona's Voices.]

What's that we've heard so often, that you shouldn't waste your time reading blogs because they offer nothing but unreliable hearsay and opinion, while the MSM meticulously check their facts so you can be sure you're getting the real scoop?

Well, for news of a decision profoundly affecting millions of people, news which we've known since Monday would be announced today (so the timing was no surprise), news destined to evoke widespread joy and widespread fury however it came out -- it looks like you'd have been better off relying on your favorite little political blog than on Fox or even on CNN (CNN, for crying out loud).  If we can't count on them to get this right, what are they good for?

Snort.

I'm loving this - not only the decision but the Republican reaction. They're threatening to move to Canada. Good luck with that.

SK: Too bad their insurance probably doesn't cover cranial explosions, since in their case it's a pre-existing condition.

LP: I've seen that -- move to Canada to avoid socialized medicine? They'd do better to move to a country that really lives conservative values.

Interestingly, I've read in a couple of places that Chief Justice Roberts may have initially been inclined to rule against the ACA but then changed his mind. Apparently, the minority opinion makes reference to Justice Ginsberg's dissent.

Watch for the wingnuts now to claim that Obama's ACORN thugs threatened Justice Robert's family or something to change his vote.

TK: I've already seen wingnuts claiming that.

I bet Roberts has been laughing so hard he's had to use his insurance-paid-for asthma inhaler!
